The Memorial Hall Recordings (2002)
Tracks:
For this album, Mark and his band chose to record in an empty Civil War-era Memorial hall in a small town in central Massachusetts. The Memorial Hall Recordings was recorded live, cutting each song as an entire performance, in only three and a half days. The album features new originals from Mark, traditional songs with New England roots, and songs by other respected roots artists from the region (Bill Morrissey, Lonesome Brothers, Dennis Brennan, among others). Village Records says the album "brings to mind the early work of The Band."
